About BRIbuild
BRIbuild is a Melbourne-based steel frame kit home manufacturer specialising in precision roll-formed light gauge steel (LGS) structural framing for residential construction. We design, engineer, manufacture and deliver structure-only steel frame kits to owner builders and registered builders across Australia.
Our head office at 71 Cleveland Avenue, Lower Plenty (by appointment only) oversees operations across our national manufacturing network. Our Melbourne Backyard Pods display warehouse is at 44/44 Sparks Avenue, Fairfield (by appointment only). Every kit includes site-specific structural engineering, NCC 2022 energy compliance documentation, and council-ready building permit drawings.
Our Experience
BRIbuild has been delivering kit home projects since 2017 and incorporated as BRIbuild Pty Ltd in 2019. The team brings over 15 years of hands-on experience in precision roll-formed LGS structural systems across both the residential housing and mining accommodation sectors. This dual-sector background gives us engineering capability that most residential-only kit home suppliers lack — our frames are manufactured to the same tolerances and quality standards demanded by mining and commercial projects.
We have completed more than 150 kit home and pod projects nationwide since 2017, delivering to every Australian state and territory from our distribution hubs in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Bundaberg. Our project portfolio spans single-bedroom granny flats through to 5+ bedroom family homes, A-frame cabins, barndominiums, and multi-dwelling developments.

Brian has over 15 years of experience in precision roll-formed LGS structural framing for residential and mining sector applications. He oversees BRIbuild’s design, engineering and manufacturing operations and leads the company’s network of kit home brands serving owner builders across Australia.
What We Do
BRIbuild manufactures structure-only steel frame kit homes. “Structure-only” means you receive the engineered steel frame, roof trusses, subfloor system and all engineering certification — then you or your builder complete the fit-out with your choice of cladding, internal linings, plumbing, electrical and finishes. This approach gives owner builders 20-40% cost savings compared to turnkey builds while maintaining full structural engineering compliance.
Our frame kits are priced on request, from compact designs through to large multi-bedroom homes. Every kit is custom-engineered for the specific site — soil classification, wind region, bushfire attack level (BAL), climate zone and council requirements are all addressed in the engineering package.
